The Full Story

Restoration Happens Through Relationship.

We believe that all lasting life-change begins and ends with the love of God. At Reach, we aren't just looking for volunteers; we are looking for mentors who are willing to see past a case number or a circumstance to the God-given potential within every student.

Many of our students navigate systems that only see their past. They need a steady, consistent presence to help them envision a different future. It takes those who have experienced God’s love to truly share it—offering the "relational glue" that helps students heal, grow, and find their way toward a life of flourishing.

How You Can Partner With Us:

By sharing your time and your heart, you help create the "off-ramps" our students need to navigate the world with confidence. We are currently looking for partners across our three divisions:

  • Group Mentors (Reach Intervention): Join us on Thursday nights to facilitate group mentoring sessions. Be part of the community that helps students navigate their journey out of the juvenile justice system.

  • One-on-One Mentors (Reach Reconciliation): Walk alongside a student within the Greenville County Youth Services Detention Center. As a one-on-one mentor, you’ll coordinate with your student to find a visit time that works for you both—offering dignity, consistency, and hope to a young person during their most difficult season.
