Our stories are still being written.

The Big Idea

Our ministry includes programming inside the Greenville County Juvenile Detention Facility. We serve the students and guards twice per week, offering enrichment activities, dinner, and small group conversations about life, God, and everything in between. Students can enroll in our program while they are in the detention facility in order to join our re-entry program upon their release. We also partner directly with the Department of Juvenile Justice to offer critical diversion services to system-involved youth.

Reach In

We provide a faithful ministry to our local juvenile detention facility through bi-weekly programming and consistent mentorship. We believe that each of us is more that the worst thing we've ever done. No student should be defined by the decisions that landed them in jail. Their stories are still being written - and as long as Jesus holds the pen each chapter will be marked by grace. That kind of hope can turn a life around. And that message of hope doesn't end at the doors of jail cell. We walk with students as they leave the detention facility and return home.

Reach Out

We work closely with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) and the Greenville County Solicitor to offer meaningful alternatives to incarceration. These alternatives are referred to as Diversion Services. We create uniquely tailored diversion plans for each student that is referred to our program, and work closely with that student to ensure they successfully complete their diversion plan. Our diversion services include case-management, one-on-one coaching, mentorship, class learning environments, leadership development, counseling services and career readiness training. In addition to our diversion services, we also work with recently paroled juveniles and young adults, offering coaching and mentoring through our re-entry program.
